NGD: Wayloncaster
Posted earlier asking for a value on something like this, (and if anyone knows feel free to let me know), no one responded and it was selling cheap, so i went ahead and picked it up.
this started life as a '52 ri telecaster, but has been highly modified since then. the low e tuner was changed out to a keith banjo d-tuner but i changed it back to stock. came with a glendale bridge with compensated saddles, steel on the low e-a and brass on the rest. top it off with a full on gawdy as hell painted embossed leather cover complete with flying W on the back. i'm not even really a waylon jennings fan, but i'm diggin it. forgive the photo's, cellphone is all i got.

dude, I'd play the hell out of that. I've thought about making myself a leather wrapped tele someday.

i've been playing it side by side with my modded highway 1 tele (brass saddles, nocaster pups) and its got alot more sizzle to it. brighter and poppier. the highway 1 is a little more rockin. dunno if its the alder vs the ash, the nocaster pups vs the 52's, or the ghost of waylon.

the lace IS a little uncomfortable on my forearm after 3 hours of playing sitting down. gotta figure out a way to soften up the leather binding.
also, found a small shim in the neck, will this affect the tone of the guitar significantly since it isnt strait wood on wood contact?
