In Need Of Fuzz Advice.

Ladies, Gentleman, and Tone Gurus alike, I am in need of your services.

Recently, I have been a victim to the lusting of fuzz. I needs it! So to speak. What I'm looking for is something nice and buzzy. Bright and cutting, but with a nice boom to the bass, a trashy little number that can get me into some Tone Bender territory. Right now, it's between a Phoenix Custom Electronics Little Red Rocket, and an Analogman Peppermint fuzz. I understand that these are inspired by different models of fuzz, but they both capture that "buzzy trashiness" for me.

Anything you can recommend? I am but a humble youngster, and any words would be greatly appreciated. Also, under $250 would be AMAZING.

Again, thank you for your time and consideration.

~Sincerely, Frisky Dingo.

I recently acquired a Fulltone Soul-Bender, and it is a GREAT Tonebender MKIII. You don't really lose bass, and it goes from buzzy & nasty to smooth and creamy.

I want a Phoenix Custom Electronics Little Red Rocket bad. I have not played one but I can tell you that I have had Alex at PCE build me two pedals and he is a great guy to deal with and his pedals are fantastic. The Lady Stardust is a great fuzz.

Good luck!

Thank you very much gentleman (and in case I'm oblivious, ladies too?).
I think I'll start looking up on the Soulbender. You know, I've heard a lot of good things about this Mr. Skinpimp. Any clips?

Also, I tried the Plum Crazy on a friend's pedalboard, and it just didn't work for me. Thank you very much though sir!

Haha true. Come to think of it, he thought if someone could capture the "wah wah wah sound" (as he put it) of an analog delay, it could make an awesome phaser. I guess we all have to have those friends though.
