Seymour Duncan JB jr?

I just recieved a Seymour Duncan JB jr in the mail. I bought thinking it was for the bridge. I was wrong and it is for the neck. I was wondering if anyone has ever used a neck JB jr in the bridge position and if so how did it sound?

the only difference will be in the number of windings. Neck pickups are wound slightly less(or bridge is wound slightly hotter) to compensate for the volume differences in those positions. The strings vibrate more over the neck pickup than they do over the bridge, more vibration=more energy=more output.

So, in answer to your question, the Neck JB Jr will sound just like the bridge, only slightly lower output.

Less winding = lower output and thinner/brighter.

More windings = higher output and thicker/more mids.

Correct?
