Cool Update on Roger Ebert

Pretty tragic story but the guy somehow remains mostly upbeat considering what he's gone and is going through. And do me a favor, spare any yuck yuck remarks about how he looks these days and instead consider the balls it took from him to allow the magazine to print the pictures.

Always been a huge fan and hang out at his website often (enjoy reading his reviews - http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/frontpage)

I don't know whether to be inspired by that story or to break down in tears. Maybe both. What a horrific ordeal to go through, and yet he is so positive about it, so focused on the blessings in his life rather than the curses. I've always been a fan, but my admiration for him personally has increased tenfold.

He wrote the screenplay for "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls." He has my eternal admiration and respect.

Love this quote. It's going up on my wall.

I always enjoyed his reviews, and Siskel's as well.

Courage comes in many forms.

Roger Ebert is a very brave man.
