11 year old jammin' live with JM

with all the John Mayer threads getting shut down, the guy deserves his props, he jammed with an 11 year old fan at a recent concert, pretty cool.. he gave him that guitar too.

Nice vid, seems like a cool guy for sure. When I was 15 I got to jam onstage with Jerry Doucette (of Mama Let Him Play fame), That was pretty fun. I was way too nervous to play though. A year later I got a tape in the mail of us playing together. It was hideous!

His timing was terrible. What was with that tone too? That doesn't sound boutique. He needs to quit looking so nervous and just feel it. Unimpressed. He should go back to the woodshed and hide for a while until he's good.

I bet that was the highlight of that kids life. I'm betting his feet haven't hit the ground yet.

Good on Mayer for doing that, and who cares if he gets some good pub from it. It didn't hurt anyone.

Oh yea? You said it yourself, that was the highlight of the kids life. There's no way he'll top that. Poor kid is gonna go through life all depressed and Emo.

Good job John!

Ok. I meant his life so far. And who says depressed an Emo is a bad way to go through life? Different flavors of jello...

Didn't see that one coming from a mile away or anything.

Cut the guy a break. He's a decent man. He's not perfect, and neither are you.

Leave it to TGP'ers to twist a man's awesome deed into bashing him. Some people on this board never cease forcing me to bury my face deep, deep into the palm of my hand.

Great job, John. Made that kid's life.
