Stomp Box Switches (now making)

Hi guys

I am now making stomp box switches that slide over your original switch. This makes the switch bigger and easier to find so you don't have to look for it while playing. It also raises the height which keeps your foot away from the rest of the settings.

If anyone is interested send me an email I will pass on some information.

Also If anyone else has any ideas or something they want made up then let me know and I will see what I can do.

Thanks guys

Pete

One of the reasons stomp switches break is indirect pressure on the switch (i.e at an angle) This cover could increase the likelihood that your attack on the switch comes at an angle and could break switches easier. Just means you need a bit more care when using these 'toppers.'

Yes! Another TGPer posted a picture of his pedalboard with these thing-a-mabobs on a couple of his pedals, and everybody wanted to know where to get them.

I'm kinda interested myself. Neat idea..

I don't think it would break the switch.

The physics is relatively simple. However, I'm not familiar with the innards of a stomp switch, but mine don't seem to have a ton of side to side movement, meaning they'd be less prone to damage due to axial loads and torques.

I could go into the physics, but let's keep this less nerdy. This mechanical engineer says "Safe."

I remember when your friend posted a pic of these on his board, and everyone wanted one. Congrats on getting set up at TGP to offer them to the public. Good luck.
