Sass Jordan Appreciation
I really like Sass Jordan. I think she has one of the best female rock voices there is.

I saw Sass in '93 when she was the opening act for Joe Cocker. She came out and rocked the theatre HARD! I went out the next day and bought Racine (her current release at the time). Over the years whenever I was in a band with female singers I always tried to get some Sass on the playlist (most often it was "You Don't Have to Remind Me".

I've been listening to her album From Dusk till Dawn lately. Not as much rocking as the older stuff, but it's really a good listen.

Steve Salas on guitar on the Racine album. Great tones and licks.

Great voice, she's great to see live - remembering back when she was doing the Racine tour. Loud as heck at times - they were'nt pretending.

I listened to her cd Rats this week and recalled seeing her back in 95 or so.
She had an absolute killer band with her, and sang her lungs out. It was rumoured that she auditioned for, or almost joined VH before they hired Cherone.

I bought her first LP when it came out. Loved her voice, hated her band.

Absolutely killer artist. Used to cover "High Road Easy" and still is one of my 'go-to' kick-ass songs to play when I am demoing gear/tones with. Stevie Salas was/is a killer player. DIG!
I have never seen the Healey clip above... thanks for sharing!! Jeff was such a talent. Wow.
