Difference between Hipshot Grip-Lock Locking and Classic Guitar Tuners

Are there any difference between Hipshot Grip-Lock Locking and Classic Guitar Tuners besides the locking mechanism and weight?

I'm curious to know if there's any difference in the string posts as I'm considering both tuners for my future builds

They are the same other than the locking mechanism and they even do staggered posts on them.

I have Hip Shot on my Tyler and have classic style on my other Tyler. Both way better than those on Fender and Gibson.

Both are smooth especially the Hip Shots.

Thanks guys I prefer the non-locking Hipshot Classic tuners and am concerned that may not be enough height on the tuner posts for the strings to wrap around.
