Need Help with original Super reverb Speakers Pls

I just picked up a 65 Super reverb, and Clearly 2 if not all of the speakers are unoriginal.

can someone look at these photos i posted and decode the numbers?

I know nothing about Jensen speakers, or fender black face amp number decoding for that matter, and would appreciate some help.

The spkrs with 465= Oxford 1974's
137=CTS-1964-5 or 74-5
The CTS's may be original but my feeling is none of them are the date codes are too mishmash-ed and alot of 65's came with CTS alnico's.Regardless you can do alot better than either of those speakers today.

I'm trying to find 4 D110f for this amp... but I'm not sure I like the sound of them better than the Jensens.

what would you recommend as the "better" speakers that we have available today?

I have 4 supers and most have vintage CTS alnico's as ive hoaded them over the years or they have been stock.If you do a TGP search http://www.google.com/cse?cx=0161998...b+and+speakers
There will be many opinions Webers,Eminence the list goes on.......the JBL's you mentioned are rare and maybe not my choice in a super.

Try to find a quad of CTS Alnico speakers. Inefficient, yes but I love them in a Super.

i actually found some CTS alnicos... they sound good, but very inefficient indeed.

i've got a complete set of D110f on the way... which will be way louder.. but i'll know whether or not I like them in minutes.

i actually landed 2 Eminance Alnicos from 1974 and those sound killer to me.
i wish I could find 2 more of those suckers... and i'd be happy as can be.

the CTS will probably windup being sold

i'm excited to hear the amp with 4 10inch JBLS.
I've been running it into a 2x12 extension cab with D120f-6 wired to 8ohms.
its obviously an impedance mismatch, but ti sounds heavenly..

i'm actually going to to buy one of the Mercury Magnetics Fender Tone Clone Output transformers with an 8ohm, and a 4ohm tap..

that way, i can wire the D110fs in series/parallel which will give me an 8ohm load,
and then if I want to... run both the 10 inchers and 12inchers at the same time, for the Mother of All Fender/JBL sound LOL.

i'll have to get some videos of that , when i'm done.
