Wolfetone Pickups Is NOT Out of Business!

Just got off of the phone with Wolfe and he mentioned that there is a rumor going around that he's out of business. This rumor is really hurting his sales, so I just want to make it known that his business is still alive and well.

If you've been planning on buying some Wolfetones at some point, doing it now will really help him out tremendously. If you haven't tried Wolfetone pickups, you owe it to yourself to try them out. Wolfe winds some of the greatest pickups on the planet and is the BEST vendor I've had the pleasure of dealing with.

Please spread the word that he is still in business and sprinkling that magic dust on his pickups.

Cheers!

You might want to fix that spelling error in the title. - its Wolfetone, Not Woletone. Also, here's a link to their site.

Talked to Wolfe yesterday as well, going to be swinging by the shop when I'm in the area next weekend.

Oh man, you're right. I can't figure out how to change the title line. I can change the body of text, but not that line. Any suggestions other than deleting the thread and starting over?

You may be able to change the title. After clicking the edit button click "Go Advanced" If that's an option. (It'll be in the lower right corner) You should be able to change the title then.

He could always pull a "Paul is dead", pretend to be out of business, his pickups will shoot up in value to about 500.00 each, and he can secretly sell them on Ebay and have the last laugh...
Wolfe is a nice guy and he makes a great pickup. He'll custom wind them for you, and if you don't like it, he'll rewind them until you love them. Hard to beat if you ask me.
I've been meaning to get him to wind me a set of Marshallheads..

Wolfetone Dr Vs are the best pickups I've ever had in my Historic. I notice them getting used a lot on burst replicas, so he must be doing something very, very right!

You were correct, so I did fix the typo in the title. Thanks.

I had a Dr. Vintage neck & a Marshallhead bridge in my Les Paul Traditional. They sounded so much better than the stock '57 Classics. I now have them in my PRS Singlecut and they transformed that guitar from mediocre to excellent.

I confirm. I have ordered a Legend this week.
This rumor could come from the fact that his email address is heavily spammed making difficult to contact him.

I'm finishing up the next 4 builds........

And then for everything but the F-Tron bomb stuff.........it'll be Wolfetone only for me.

Wolfe just gets it......no hype and to the point.....no attitude.

THE man knows tone and can answer any questions one would have.......and have all ever listen to da' clips ??!!!!

I think the rumor is partially due to the Wolfetone amplifier/cabinet company. i had heard recently they they had gone out of business, and think peopel might be getting us confused or thinkign we were related somehow.

My actual email address isn't so heavily spammed these days, but I think server loads at my ISP are causing some issues. I've also had email to several people returned as undeliverable lately. Again, might be server issues. I don't know. I usually answer pretty quick though!

Steve, don't feel too bad about mis-spelling the name! Hell, even I've done it

Wolfe is a great guy and aims to please. I have a set of V's in my LP and a set of Legends in a 335. Couldn't ask for more, totally pleased.

Always worth it to give him a ring.
