How Common are IIC+'s around these parts?

How often do these amps show up in the classifieds? I mean, I read this forum a lot and recall seeing lots of posts about these amps being common around these parts. I'd really love to own one of these but going on a wild goose chase isn't in my plans

I'm just curious since I've been checking craigslist, ebay, kijiji, and the boogie boards daily for a while now. I get the feeling we're in some down period where everyone is holding on to their stuff >.>

people are holding onto them for a simple reason:

they're great amps.

I've only seen one for sale, in all the stores I visit, and I so wanted to buy it. The sound was fantastic. The price wasn't unreasonable for what it was, but I would have had to sell my only guitar in order to buy it. Then what would I do?

common? A real one? Not so sure about that.

While I was researching these I saw one guy who had a Fully Load Coliseum head. Now there's a rarity...

There aren't that many C+'s in the world. They were only made for a little over a year. I think the serial numbers range is from 12XX, to 14XX. So around 2000 were built.

I have seen maybe a half dozen for sale here in the years I have been here. I had two down to one I'll hang onto it till the right offer comes along.
