how does the tone and feel of this amp, compare to some of your other tube amps? Also how does it compare to your Vox modeling amp? Thanks for the clip. Good stuff!

It's like using your favorite pedals with your favorite tube amp, more or less.

It's got more tones than the Vox AD amp, and you can save your favorite user presets too, so it's much more flexible. It think it sounds better overall as well.

I really love the idea of this. I did play the first version of spider valve in the store. I found the 1x12 combo to sound better then the head. I'll have to check this out again. Great clip thanks again.

Nice tones rotren, thanks fro the demo!

I use to have the Flextone 3 amp it was nice but didnt cut the mix very well and had to use a EQ in the loop ...how well does the mkII do in a band context!

Here's some examples of me playing it live.

It works well in a live context - cuts through nicely.

You're getting some great sounds out of that amph. I didn't like the first Spider Valve but this new one seems to be much better. Might be worth checking out...like I need another amph.

Thanks man!

It's incredibly flexible, that's for sure. I need to experiment with adding external pedals - not sure how well it will work to boost the signal with some gain pedal or booster pedal.

Your Octavia setting on the amp sounds better than the M9 version. Maybe the amp with the built in effects has a bit more going for it?

Are you using the latest firmware update for the SV MKII amps?
