If he still had his voice, I would be very interested in this. But his voice is shot, gone. Might still go if the tickets are the right price though (which I doubt they will be). Just don't expect him to sound like he did back then.

Mixed feelings too. I guess he's free to try it and see how it turns out and what the critical reception will be.

It would be much better if it was with David, but I will still go to the Chicago show.

Who is on guitar? Doyle II? Love Doyle, but he's the wrong guy for the job IMO.

Clearly you've never seen the In the Flesh DVD. Doyle is the MAN... just because most of us know him as a Texas blues sorta guy doesn't mean he doesn't do a lot of justice to DG's parts. I still maintain that the ITF tour's DVD is the greatest concert DVD of all time. It's quite the tone fest.

Great LP, fantastic artist, just a shame he trashed his voice.

I disagree that Doyle is the wrong guy (see Shark_Bite's post...the In The Flesh DVD is amazing)...and that Roger's voice is shot. I saw him last tour, and he sounded terrific. I'm going to this show even if I have to sell a kidney.

First thing i thought as well. Last few things i've heard by him were croaking embarrassments. If he's managed to get his voice back, it will be an amazing show.

I'd be there in a heartbeat!!! I saw him two years ago or so and it was possibly the best show I've ever seen. Roger is a badass!! And Dave Kilminski on lead guitar just nailed it, incredible tone and very faithful to the original Gilmour parts but with tons of feeling not just mimicry. GREAT show...
