Speaker suggestions for traynor yba-1?

I'm hoping to load a 2x12 with speakers to run with my traynor yba-1. Any suggestions what I should use?

YBA-1 users chime in - what are you using?

I love the G12H30s in my 2061cx. But I'm partial to G12H30s. And to Jensen P12n's.

I've been mostly running a 2x10 with my YBA-1 (what a cool amp), and I'm real happy with it. I've been experimenting with a combination of speakers. The Weber Signature alnico sounds great with it (though it's not really rated high enough for this amp, but I use mine with an attenuator). Two of them also sounded great. I've tried a Tone Tubby ceramic with the Weber, but wasn't thrilled. I'm using a closed back cabinet, and Tone Tubbies have always sounded dark and a bit muffled in a closed back cabinet, so the Tone Tubby couldn't hang with the lows--it woofed out pretty badly. I pulled the Tone Tubby out and now have an old Pyle Driver in there. It sounds better than the Tone Tubby, but I don't think it will be there permanently.

I'm refinishing two cabinets right now. One is semi-open back and is set up for one 15" and one 10" speaker. This will get a Jensen alnico 15 and an Eminence Red Fang, and will probably be done in about a week. If I don't like the Jensen in there, I've got an Eminence Big Ben I'll try out. The other cabinet is also semi-open and takes one 12" and one 10" speaker. I'll probably use a Celestion Gold for the 12 in that cabinet (maybe a Jensen P12n), but I'm undecided about the 10. I'm thinking I'll see how the Tone Tubby does in the semi-open backed cab. I'll try to remember update after I have these cabinets together.

I've had this Traynor for about a month, and have fallen completely in love with it. What an amp! It motivated me to get these speaker cabinet projects finished, and caused me to seriously consider selling most of the rest of my amps.

You beat me to it. Damn that speaker sounds perfect with a YBA-1. And not only that, I sold my YBA-1 earlier this year but kept the H75 because ... well ... it's a keeper.

I had some great luck pairing my traynors with eminence speakers. I've got a 2x10" cab with eminence legends that sounds great with a yba-1 (though I mainly use it with a yrm-1 right now).

An eminence legend 15" sounds outstanding with these amps IMO too.

So while I haven't tried it, I imagine 2x12" with eminence legend 12" speakers would sound great without breaking the bank.

Also had a 2x12" cab with a wizard and a governor. That really sounded amazing once the speakers broke it, but it took quite a while before they started to sound good.

The 15/10 cabinet sounds awesome. It has a Red Fang and a Big Ben in it. I have a 1x15 with a JBL D130F in it that also sounds killer with this amp.
