Rivera Clubster 45 on local CL... Opinions?

There's a Rivera Clubster 45 for sale on my local CL... guy's asking $700 for it and states the reverb is not working, never did, he bought the amp on closeout.

Anyone have experience with this amp? I haven't been able to find a shot of the rear of the amp... does the speaker wire have a 1/4" plug on the end or is it hardwired into the amp?

TIA,

Lang

1/4 inch jack for the speaker. For an amp that cost 1200$ new it is short on features and just like my more expensive Chubster 40 both only have 8 ohm output. The Clubster only has 2 12AX7's which means part of the pre amp section is solid state too. This may or may not be a concern but seems weak for a 1200$ amp IMO. Bob

Was I crazy? I began to wonder, for such an appalling lack of perspective seemed near being just that.

Roger that on the $1,200... guy is asking $700 with non-functioning reverb. Good catch on the preamp section being partially SS... I didn't notice. Not sure if it would make a huge difference, but certainly good to know going into it.

Thanks for the feedback; much appreciated!
