Sean at Music-Go-Round in Ann Arbor has done excellent work for me in the past. Not sure if he's still there, though. Would be worth a call.

Yeah I take my stuff to Elderly whenever I can, but it's too far of a drive for a lot of stuff. Actually 80% of my guitars I bought there too. They reset the neck of my Martin and they did a superb job.

Thanks for the Music-go-round mention. I go in there all the time but I never got the impression that they'd be good at something like a fret dressing. I'll reconsider that.

Okay, I did the homework. Sean is no longer at MGR, he is currently at Dennis's Music in Ypsi. Google Dennis's Music Ypsi and you'll find their website, plus a menu of services and pricing.

I think our shop is pretty damn good.

If you need to stay in the Ann Arbor area, check out David Collins at www.collinsluthiery.com. Good guy that does fine work.

Hey man... Tell Aaron that Baimun says Hi.

Now that it's warming up, I can get to work on the carved top that's getting those custom Seymour Duncan Quarter pounds in it.

Mmmm..... Koaaaa.....

I agree...Ive had a couple things done and he does great work...its a bit pricey and takes a while (as he always seems to be swamped) but worth it

Mike is my go to guy, also. A few years ago, he refretted my '67 335. He did a great job.

I'm not sure what his name is, but the tech at Berkeley music is supposed to do good work. I've taken my guitars to Mike Koontz in Ferndale always good work.
