I had a Guyatone SV-2 for awhile. It was good, but a little noisy. They have a newer version out now, the SVm5, which I haven't tried. Those micro sized pedals are great space savers.

I use the Guyatone SV-2 and haven't found it noisy at all. If there's a newer version out I'd certainly recommend giving it a try. The SV-2 works for me.

I have the BYOC. Not noisy - but the sweep time could be longer for my taste.

Before you cringe at the Behringer note that some of their stuff sounds fantastic. They are mostly clones with cheaper parts and housing. If you don't need a metal case, etc, Behringer's usually work just fine. And cost 1/4 of the competition. Especially for a slow gear type of effect that you probably aren't going to use much.

I own the Behringer one, it's not too bad. Picked it up dirt cheap knowing it's more of a novelty and will never find it's way on my gigging board. Fun to fart around with ......

I had the byoc lazy sprocket and all you have to do to change the time length of the swell is change one part inside. Very easy mod. However it does lengthen the recovery time to get another swell. Great sounding pedal though, easy build as well

I have the Guyatone SV-2 and it works like a charm. Take a look at the guts and yes, it is a Slow Gear clone. So tiny you barely know it's on the board. That said, it's for sale cheap.

When I had it the Guyatone SV2 was pretty cool. No noise that I can remember. Don't know about the SV5. I use a volume pedal now until the Philosopher King comes out.

The SV-2 noise I noticed was kind of a slight throbbing hum that increased with the swell peaking. Could've been a bum unit, power supply proximity, I dunno. It wasn't extreme at all or anything and didn't diminish the pedal's performance. The only thing I really wished for was a longer attack time. Maybe the newer version is better on that.

Think I remember why I sold it. Attack time wasn't very long. It's okay but wished a little more.
