this is why i always be sure to find a cool store and make nice with the people in it. whenever i go to try something the stage rig goes with me, and the windows get a lil bit rattled 8) but i also make sure to buy so much stuff from 'em it's worth it to put up with me!

Quite simply, in a live band setting less is always more (better) with any effect, OD/dist included. The more FX/distortion you add in a live band situ, the more you disappear into a muddy mess.

Also with OD/distortion, differences in the room/monitors/FOH will make the non-dynamic nature of brittle drive much more apparent (especially true with bad digital modeling, to my ears anyway).
