Nice demos!
Did you notice any difference in bass response between the greenbacks and blackbacks? How high was your master volume on your 50 watt JMP for demos?

Thanks!

The Blackbacks are definitely "darker" sounding speakers. There's a little less mids and highs in there. The master on my 50W was about at 2... Much higher and the mic in the camera was clipping like crazy, so I decided not to crank it too much.

Bass + mids - all the way up.
Presence + treble - close to 2 or 3
Preamp - 6

Like your songs on myspace a lot !! Is your band on CD Baby or iTunes?
Which cab(s)/heads do you use to gig/record(if you don't mind discussing-disclosing- it's all right if you don't)?

Have a cab with blackbacks coming my way. Will have to post some clips when it arrives.

We're getting ready to go back into the studio and finish up the recordings and get it mastered/pressed. We're about 2-3 months out, probably... Then we're going to figure out how to get it up on CD Baby/iTunes/etc.

The recording is piece parts for the past couple years, to be perfectly honest. Most of my tracks were done with a 100W JMP (plexi-style, non master volume) with 6550s going into my greenback cab. My solos are a mix of the 100W with my old pedal board and the 50W with my new pedal board and a couple permutations in between. The other guitarist was using his 100W Laney for all but "Ballcrusher" (not up on the site, it's currently an instrumental), with his home-made cab. His solos have some phaser/delay/doubling depending on how saucy he was feeling.

Thanks for the kind words! I'll let you know when we've got more tunes up!

Gigs - I've been using my 50W with the Greenback cab primarily. My pedalboard is the one that changes more often than anything - I've gone through about 4 different layouts/pedals in the past 6 months...
