Rekumend me a replacement speaker for an 80W combo, please.

I'm not up on bass gear, I mainly play guitar. I have an old Carvin B-115 80w combo with a blown 15" speaker. I'm looking for something fairly inexpensive that will compliment the smooth creamy tone I get from this amp and a P-bass style guitar. So what's good?

I'll check them out, thanks.

What kinda wattage range should I look at for an 80w amp? No more than 200? 400?

Doesn't really matter all that much. Make sure it's rating is higher than your amp, but otherwise it's hard to go "too high" with power ratings. Watch the sensitivity (dB@1w1m) however, as drivers with a higher power rating are often less sensitive.

That said, Carvin sells raw drivers on their site. They probably have the exact driver your amp was designed to use, and it's probably pretty inexpensive.

Not sure what your budget is, but an Eminence Beta 15 is great for low powered, warm single 15" applications. Fliptops.net recommend the Beta as the preferred replacement for the Ampeg B15N (instead of the original Jensen C15N, which is a very nice sounding speaker too).
