Tim Jauernig going to Wampler
So I have a question. Being a native of Milwaukee and a Greg Koch fan I thought I would try to buy a Gristle King being that everything that I have seen on YouTube I liked. The problem is that outside of Ebay (sorry for bringing up their name here on TGP) I can't find them. Then I got an email from Wampler pedals newsletter saying that Tim Jauernig (the inventor of the Gristle King) was leaving T-Rex and going to work for Wampler. I think this is cool but could this be the reason I am having such a hard time finding a Gristle King?

Rockin' Robin in Houston has one (no affiliation). I don't think they have the box, but you never know... The pedal looked clean. Not sure, but I think it's new.

T-Rex apparentl has a new distributor for the US... Even though they are next door (think beer and hockey), there may be some supply problems from the change-over.

I just thought I'd give everybody the lowdown since there seems to be so much controversy.I never worked or do not work for T. Rex. They currently have a license for the G-King, DGTM, and Luxury Drive. I designed a Tremolo that is coming out that is licensed to Rockett. I also build pedals designed by Brian Wampler for Wampler Pedals, and there will be a whole new line that I designed coming out in the not too distant future. I have 9 other pedal licenses as well out there in the world. You gotta do what pays the bills these days. I build some custom amps from time to time, and have a couple amp designs licensed as well.
