"Wrong" order, right result
Inspired by the EHX effectology series, especially vol. 7 with the reverb in the wrong places, i was wondering if anyone has found weird/interesting/beautiful sounds by intentionally using the "wrong" order. I used some of the EHX ideas on a recent recording and the results were good. Interested to hear if anyone here has any similar ideas.

I've found the only way to get Eric Johnsons Fuzz Face tone from the Total Electric Guitar/Austin City Limits era is to stack an overdrive first, Fuzz Face second. Most people despise this act but i've found it to be the only way i can get that incredible buzzsaw fuzz that he used so beautifully back then.

Agree on this one. Trem on square wave / envelope filter can be amazing.
I tried yesterday the reverb / high gain fuzz / envelope filter setting. Just touch the tip of a jack cable plugged into the reverb, and you get cool explosion sounds. Useless (if only...) but fun. Quote:
