MXR Stereo Tremolo

I would like to use the stereo outs to split to 2-amps. My question is does it have a buffer in it,is it any good??? Thanks in advance, ACE

I have the older Dunlop tremolo version (similar grapics, bigger box), which can be had on ebay for minimal bucks. Haven't A/B'd vs the newer ones, but I would imagine the experiences are similar. As a stand-alone trem, I'd rate it just "OK". Big footprint, A little bit of tone suckage, and controls that are suprsingly hard to dial it. As a comparision, I've found the discontinued Marshall Vibratrem a **much** better sounding and easier option if you just are looking for a basic trem for a live board. Also short dollars.

That said, in a stereo application, the Dunlop is AWESOME!!! Hard to describe, but it really does a fantastic stereo-pan tremolo. It's usefulness as a pedal increases a ton because of that. Mine was lying on the scrap heap before I plugged it into a second amp.
