Tyler Variax video...

Here's what we got going on...
my hands, V-Pick, Tyler Varix, into the T-Rex loop switcher which has among other stuff a Maxon SD9 I kick in here and there, Axe-Fx, running the THD UniValve loaded down in the Axe-Fx loop, then the whole thing goes into the Atomic Reactor powered wedge.
Sorry for the bad edits but I had to cut down 30 some minutes of video to get under the youtube 10 minute limit.

I played it acoustically, and from thast I felt it was likely the best mass produced Strat style I plinked on.

Prolly cause she knows that "you" know ...

..., who the boss is !

Lord knows, that's why my first wife and I are no longer together, and why my 2nd wife keeps me around.

I learned the hard ( and really expensive ) way ....

I understand, ever since Rich told me Jim Tyler was designing V2 or the Variax I was so jonesing for it in the hope it'd be cool. And so far it far exceeds my expectations.

Very cool. I'm definitely going to check out one of the import "strats" when they come out.

Great demo Ed. I'm surprised how well the Variax held up to the real deal. How much will they cost? That could be a seriously handy guitar for the do it all gigs. Plus I can't begin to tell you how many times I've filled in with bands that change the key to tunes with a lot of open strings Chords and licks. This would be awesome for that application.
