Incase user needs a new case, what?

I have been a huge fan of my Incase gigbag for the last few years and it has gotten the job done and been all over with me. It's worn out and I need a new case for my Strats. The thing I really love about the Incase was I could store my strap and 3 ring binder of songs in the front pocket and then the side pockets by the neck held, tools for changing strings and other odds and ends.

Either I want a new bag that's as good with the same amount of space and protection, or I'm wondering if anyone makes a hard case that offers space to hold the same stuff. I've never seen one.

Suggestions please.

The slim bags come up used here & there. I have the Slim, Dub, & Acoustic Tour Bag. Put out a WTB and see what happens. I can't believe you wore one out! The're very durable.

Yup, after 5 years of serious (almost daily use) my Slim Bag (original design) is starting to show signs of wear at the spot where the straps hook to the bag. And one of the swivels on the original straps broke, so one of my straps now is from a duffle bag. Basically it's been the only case I've used for all my guitars.

Without a doubt, the Mono case is the best case out there to replace my Incase. It's next on my list. http://www.monocase.com/mono-electric-guitar.asp

Cool thing is that even my slightly larger Koll semi hollow fits in one. My buddy has one and compared it to the Reunion Blues Continental, said it was no comparison. Just last weekend I was really tempted to steal his bag as we gigged together... (I'm kidding of course). I'd venture to say that the Mono may even be better than the Incase.

Mine wore out on the side handle, it came apart and the hooks are also showing signs of wear. But, I have used day in and day out for 4 years, I think it held up great.

I went and checked out the Reunion Blues Continental at GC and the thing I didn't like, was no inside pockets around the neck. But, it did seem like a nice bag, I'm not sure if the front pocket has the same amount room as the Incase.

I'm going to check out the Mono.

I had a mono. Didn't think that much of it. I prefer my Incase slim bag by a long shot. Also Levy's leather.

What about the Reunion Blues Continental bags?

Agree to disagree. I find the incase bags to be better.

LOL! Agree to disagree again. I have an Incase and dig it but compared to it I think the Mono is a more solid case. The padding is stiffer and it seems like it would protect better all the way around. It's lighter too. Just my 2 pennies.

Hey Aarondavis: Is your Koll a 335-dimension semi, or a smaller one like a 339? I'm looking to find out if the M80 (actually, the double bag) will fit a Heritage Prospect on one side. That way, I can get that one bag and bring a hollow and a solid to the gig.

Hey revlimit, just saw this question. Yes, my Koll is the smaller size of a ES339. And FYI, I went ahead and got a Mono and flew to Portland yesterday with that semi-hollow Koll (for business, the guitar was along for the ride). Actually going to bring it over to Saul's shop tomorrow.

I almost had to gate check my Koll in the Mono... wasn't going to be happy, but I was going to be "ok" with it. It's a great hybrid case.

I really like my Mono (the one pictured). It even fits my Reverend Club King semi-hollow (tight fit, though).

Great product.
