Tommy Emmanuel - This Never Gets Old

The man can play, and brings such a great joy to the guitar.

I wonder if Brian Setzer has seen this? Many similarities, but I think Tommy's definitely a lap or two ahead.......

I've met Tommy a few times.....a wonderful man with zero ego!

That guy is a monster. He seems like one of the nicest guys in the business, too. He got a chance and tries to pass it along to the next guy. LOVE his chops.

I've been lucky enough to see Tommy live about 4 times now. He is a great showman and a fantastic ambassador for the guitar.

If you get the chance, check out his brother Phil as well - equally as good a guitarist, although leaning towards heavier rock than Tommy does.

I've met both Tommy and Phil, and they are really really nice, down to earth people.

I've shared a stage with Phil Emmanuel a few times. Incredible player and a very cool guy. He does the best Richie Benaud/Tony Greig voice you've ever heard! (For non-Aussies, they are famous cricket commentators.)
