I stopped by Mesa Boogie Hollywood today, and they have 2, one black
and one gold. Tremendous guitars! This was my first encounter with a Huber, and it's right up there with the best. Wish I could have taken one home, but it's not do-able right now.

Did you get a chance to play it at all? how does the neck dimension feel? It doesn't look like he offers any neck options. How chunky it this one?

The neck felt like it was close to being a med/large roundback, for sure a bit over medium. Not sure of the specs... very comfy and great playability, for me anyways. I could see feeling at home with it quickly.
The scale is 25", compound radius neck, 1.67 nut width, medium jumbo frets. The back of the neck was a beautiful flamed maple. Mighty impressive guitar. I did not
have time to plug it in, just played it acoustically for a few minutes.
I always do that first anyways.
Still thinking about it, such a great first impression, what a guitar!

I just shipped a gold Krautster to Lance Keltner which he'll be filming mid next week, so hang on to your hats cause Lance is about to tear it up......he'll also be filming the new C.P. Thornton Legend, Chuck's take on the classic LP design, which is absolutely awesome.

So Cliff, that was the last one in inventory right? when is your next shipment due? I thought I saw that you were expecting a white one?

kralltime,

The Gold one will be back by next Friday and the white one will not be here for a few weeks as Nik is still focusing on the black and gold models.

Can't wait to see the white one!

Think you could get him to do a DAG edition in Pelham Blue?
