FYI...

Statement as of 9:02 PM CDT on May 24, 2010

... The Twin Cities has set a new record high temperature for today...

The high temperature was 95 degrees in the Twin Cities this afternoon.

The exceeds the long standing record high 88 degrees set May 24, 1875.

(And closer to my home...this was also reported:

Eau Claire, WI 93 /record high)

BUT.....this to look forward to:

Thursday through Saturday
Mostly clear. Highs 75 to 80. Lows 50 to 55.

Saturday Night
Mostly clear in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows 50 to 55.

Sunday and Sunday Night
Partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs 75 to 80. Lows around 50.

Memorial Day
Partly cloudy. Highs around 75.

AHHHHH....
Gonna be a great long weekend.
