yet ANOTHER menatone tbiac question

is the TBIAC useful as a platform so to speak? like in the same way a good clean amp (twin reverb, jc-120, etc) is used as a pedal platform?

i know a lot of people have said they use the top boost in a can exclusively as their clean tone with their amp. im wondering if over dirt pedals you put before this will then react in a similar way as they would going through an actual AC30... or if you had a really transparent overdrive going into the TBIAC set up clean if it would get you into AC30 drive tones.

for example, if i used an OCD (not that the OCD is extremely transparent) into the TBIAC set clean, would it still sound voxish?

thanks!

When I ran my tbiac, that's how I used it.
Gain pedals before it, and it felt like I was using the pedals to dirty up an ac-30.
Very cool.
