The most beautiful burst i've seen in a while.

Why don't they make these kinds of sunburst that much?

personally, i prefer a plaintop burst. tobacco burst (when new) isn't that nice. much darker. i think you're looking a something that's got a few years on it...

You can get a G0 in darkburst that looks very much like that

For my tastes, sunburst finished maple better have some stripey sh*t going on or it will not catch my eye. Clear (plain) maple (sunburst or no)looks like industrial school/office furniture and public restroom doors.

Its funny... to each his own... I think flamed maple tops are some of the most ugly, tacky finishes ever made. I wouldn't be caught dead with a flame top.

+1 There's no accounting for taste. I don't need furniture grade wood in my instruments, as long as it sounds like I want.

I loved the plain top on my Classic:



And I love the plain top on the R8 I traded it in for:



I just really dig plain tops.
