Knife Collector Alert! Blade Show in Atlanta this weekend...

I collect knives as well as a lot of other things (guitars, duh!) and the world's largest knife show, The Blade Show is here in Atlanta this weekend. Saturday is the big day but it's open on Sunday as well and is being held at the Cobb Galleria. Any self respecting knife person should be there, if you happen to be in the neighborhood. Incredible stuff that blows my mind every time I go.

I picked up a few choice gems today, including a Tony Bose Swayback Desk Knife in Ivory! Yum...

I went a few years back and it blew my mind. I had no idea knives could be worth so much.

I was the GM for Emerson Knives for a number of years. I always loved the Blade Show. Such a good time.

I made so many great friends in teh Knife community. Even though I am no longer with the Emersons daily, they are like family to me. I have been wishing that I was down in Atlanta all day.

I believe recent Bob Kramer chefs knives on Ebay have been going in excess of $9k.
Makes the griping about guitar prices on TGP sound trivial, doesn't it?
