Angry ex relic refinish...

friends girl lost it after a fight and stole his expensive amps and smashed everything else. his cheap CIJ jag (black)took it pretty bad but was the best out of the bunch. several pieces of wood broke off the body, mostly by or in the neck pocket. lots of dings, bent and broken tuners, broken switch, break in the neck at the heel and crack at the head running through almost the whole thing on the tuner side.
I repaired all the damaged wood and it looked cool but I know he doesn't want to think of this every time he plays it. so I decided to do a complete strip and refinish.
here is a still unfinished, badly shot pic

Man, that sucks. But great that you're repairing it for him! Had a girlfriend too, going berserk after we split. Cost me 600 to have my Jazzmaster refinished and repaired after she went at it with a knife and kicking it to the wall.

That's about as close as it comes to an actual physical attack of your person.
Somehow it seems to cut deeper, right into your soul.

It may be the case that he wishes her dead.
He should take that Jag and El-Kabong her head.
