Gil Yaron replicas?

Question...will he be putting his own name on the replicas now that theyre being marketed openly on Destroy All Guitars?

I believe that he already does put his own name on his guitars.

youre right...he does on the Ts and S types

I was more wondering about the LP 59 replicas since the first one built didnt have his logo on it. Id imagine so right? I was suprised about these since most of the replica builders keep it low profile

The early LP's were prototypes. Gil will have his own name on the headstock of his regular builds.

He was very specific about this in the thread on The Tele Discussion Page.

In comparison to what Ive seen 59 replicas go for on mylespaul, his price isn't even that bad considering the amount of work and detail.

Yes. I use my own headstock shape and logo for all commercial builds regardless of my relations with Cliff at Destroy All Guitars (-;
The prototype was built as a 'one off' prototype.
It's illegal to use Gibson logo and headstock and I do not encourage doing so!

Awesome!! Do you have a pic of the headstock with logo? I looked on your site and didn't see one. That being said, it wouldn't be the first time, or last, that I completely missed something that was right in front of me. LOL!!

I didn't update the website for a long time... not since the LP proto anyway.
I'll add some nice shots of recent LP builds when they're complete.

I like that Logo, have you decided on a headstock shape yet?

One day when I get the cash together and finally decided on the specs I'd gonna place an order for one of your great guitars.
