recommendations for keyboard amp?
We have gone the route of going through PA and monitors with mediocre results. Anyone know of a relatively affordable amp that is good for running keyboards through on stage? Twin Reverb clean enough?

Peavey keyboard amps are great. Get the biggest you can afford and carry.

do you want hi-fi onstage monitoring, or do you want "amp character" added to vintage-type patches like b-3s or rhodes sounds?
for the former, you basically want a little PA, with lots of power and fidelity. the house would just get the direct signal. i've heard decent results with bass rigs, especially 4x10 cabs with strong horns. for the latter, a big ol' twin can be cool. mic it up for the house and you've got thick, chewy tone for days.

The Roland KC series of keyboard amps work great for us. The model we had also had an XLR input (four channels) so that we can use it for vocals at band practice.
