This morning I danced like a fool...

...because when I went into the garage to get dog food, I came back in the house and my 7 year old son tells me, quite matter-of-factly, that I have a wasp on my back.

So I run out the back door in my underwear, gyrating like I was on acid at Studio 54 in NYC during the late 70's.

Happy Tuesday.

Next time you could try just brushing the wasp off of your back...it's probably a lot safer.

I'd have done the same. The smell of hairspray must have been unbearable.

I got popped by 3 a few days ago while clearing out some bushes. Not fun, esp. the only that got me on the head above the ear.

I gassed em and got the nest. It was the size of my palm.

A few years ago, I was shooting some hoops in my driveway with my then young daughters. We had a large pine tree right behind the goal and one of them missed and it hit the tree. I leaned in to get the ball and was stung about 6-7 times right on the top of my freshly #1 buzz-cut head in about .5 seconds!

I'm allergic and by the time I ran to the bathroom to grab some Benedryl, I was already feeling nauseous, breaking out in hives and feeling my airways tighten. I couldn't swallow the pills, but was lucky to have some children's liquid Benedryl handy and drank about a half-bottle. It helped slow the reaction, and I was able to get it under control without having to go in for an EpiPen. Pretty scary actually and hurt like crazy!
