My first Telecaster...why did I wait so long?
I never thought I'd get along with one of these. 7.25 radius vintage frets...comming from 20" Radius Custom Suhr's (which I still have). It's an adjustment but not as big as I would have thought.
It's an 03-05ish 62 RI CIJ Telecaster the card in the case says "Vintage Premium" TL62B-75TX ![]() ![]() ![]()

One is just how it starts. You'll have three in no time, now that you've had a taste. Sorry Brother, you're one of us now!
The Island isn't finished with you, LOL!!!

I'm trying to date this guitar...not having much luck. As you noticed I replaced the bridge, but still have the original...which has an A serial number on it, A034037, but the neck has Crafted In Japan 051147 which denoted a 93-94 model. Supposedly the 2002-2005 Q serial number Crafted In Japan models only have 5 digits....
so it's either a 93-94 or a 2002-2005...who knows? |

Sweet looking guitar! Love the binding on a sunburst body. I think those 62' CIJ Tele's come w/ Texas Specials stock (?)

Ah yes, another one succumbs to the power of the tele!
And a sweet looking one to start with - congrats and enjoy!

Two Teles but only one Strat. But, of course, it's the best Strat on the planet.

Same feeling. I played a 1973 Strat for years but never was really completely happy with the sound. Tried a Les Paul but they were too heavy.
Fast Forward to 1991/92 My first Ernie Ball EVH. Humbuckers and light weight body. Now we are cooking. 2000 found a lightweight historic re-issue Les Paul. Satisfied until 2007 when I saw the Dirty Knobs with Mike Campbell. Tone was narly and mean. Walked through the crowd and saw he was playing a tele. Got a G&L that week. And that how it starts. A tele is the perfect rock machine. |

Congrats man--great guitar.
I'm a recent convert myself. Got my first (G&L ASAT) about 6 months ago. Within a few months after that I got my second (52 Hot Rod). Right now I don't see the need for a 3rd...yet. |

Rosewood or maple? I have one of each and am surprised at how much I turn more to the rosewood these days. |
