Bad News Re Pedaltrain!

Well...I called Pedaltrain last week to inquire about the rumored PT-3 (somewhere between the PT-2 and the Pro). Unfortunately, I was told that there are NO current plans to release a pedalboard between the pro and pt-2. Has anyone else heard contrary reliable information?

The rumored PT-3 was more fanboy speculation than anything else.

I've emailed PT and they said this:

Tim,Thanks for the message and interest.
We are talking about making one in between those sizes but there is nothing for sure at this point.
Please keep checking our website for the latest news.

I've got the PT-Pro, and love it. I had to get that size because of my Loopmaster 6 switcher, nothing else would fit. And I still have plenty of room for more pedals in the future. Idiots who start bitching because it's "so huge" should stick to playing with just an amp, and leave us pedal-philes alone!

Oh, knock it off - you know you get off, on them!

Why do so many concern themselves with others opinions of themselves when we all started to play guitar only because WE liked it? Sure, audiences are great - but real music tends to develop when it's just you and your stringed love.

When you play in a band of 6 and tour alot, size and weight are pretty big factors for both fitting on a stage and being a giant pain in the ass to carry around with a hard case.

I've just ordered a PT2 and should be fine for my use, but I can see why people would need something a little larger. Can't wait to get it

"Dear PedalTrain, you will sell even more boards by making a size in between 24" and 32" wide."

- Signed, All the Gear Page fans who want a 28" wide pedal board

I had a PT Pro at one time and it was a beast. I've since scaled back to a Jr. I always thought it would be better for carrying around if a Pro was broken down into two Jrs. Much easier on the back.

Who cares about PT-3...

The question is: where is Nano!?

I've read that it will be announced at Summer NAMM, but I couldn't find any info

Who'd you speak with...?

I emailed them a few weeks back and got this reply..

Hello Luke, Thanks for your interest. We are working on a couple new sizes to be released in 6 to 12 months. From the Nano ( smaller than the Mini) which will be available at Summer NAMM, to the Pedaltrain 3 and 4 which will be between the 2 and Pro in size. We do not have a release date for the 3-4 yet but it is in the works. We are very excited about all of these and we are working as fast as we can to get them to production. I hope this is good news for you. Thanks again for your question and interest.
