The IT Crowd: Any Fans?

Our friends introduced us to a British TV show called The IT Crowd. I'm about to start season 1 as it's on the "Watch It Now" option for Netflix. Any fans?

I thought you were talking about an old GF of mine, I re-named her IT.

I was worried there for a minute.

Love it!

The thread about The Office made me think of The IT Crowd, as it plays the two traditional sides of Brit TV humour (over the top at one end, and oh-so-subtle at the other) against each other.

I'm actually in the middle of the 3rd series... series 4 started last week...

I'm a big fan; finished series 1-3 on netflix a few months ago, downloaded and watched ep 1 of series 4 last night (I was under the impression the show had run its course, so I was really happy when a friend pointed out to me that series 4 was underway).

I did IT support to pay the bills in college and some of the situations they find themselves in bring back funny memories, but it's just a well-written and well-acted show, I think anyone could enjoy it. As a geek I also like scanning their office for great stickers, posters and other geek references (lots of that stuff changes in the office, so you can notice new things regularly).

The 'You have sh** on your head!' episode (series 2 or 3, forget which) was one of the funniest things I've seen on tv; such a simple gag but they used it in so many different ways with great comedic timing.
