Maxon OD 820 vs. Fulltone OCD v4

Thinking of making a change to the pedalboard. I'm seeking advice from anyone that has experienced both of these pedals and can describe the difference. I understand that the OCD is actually more like a distortion than overdrive.

I'm interested to hear peoples preferences and why.
