EQ Questions - Bright SG Issue
I have a Blackheart Mini Giant amp and an SG. Typically playing in the bridge position gives me way to bright of a tone evey using the EQ on the amp.
If I am using an EQ pedal - what is the better approach? Stay in bridge position and cut some of the highs? Or move to middle position and cut some of the "over beefyness" and "woofiness" out of the lows? Opinions please!

Roll back on tone knob, maybe? Try messing with the pickup height, also.
My hog top les paul was kinda like this until I messed with pickup height and tone knob placement and now it balances pretty well between positions.
