Recording studios in or near Chicago Recommendations

Me and my band are looking for and affordable place to record 3-4 songs. We are looking for studio in and around Chicago up to about 1 hour away. The studio needs to be about $300-$400 per Day (10 hours) including an engineer. We only need it for a day or two at the most. We would like a halfway decent place with good Mic and other studio equipment. We would use or own equipment but it is always nice to have a little extra.

I looked at places on line and I like Gravity Studios but they are too expensive but something similar to them.

We are also looking for the studio to master the tracks but we would like copies of both the mastered songs and the individual tracks.

Any ideas? or personal experiences with a good studio?

I do know a guy but he's in the burbs (farther than 1 hour out) and he's booked right now. Sorry. Studio's come and go pretty fast these days.

Woodland Recording Studio in Spring Grove, IL.

Recorded there about 4-5 years ago. Great rooms, Loaded control room, very capable engineer. He's recorded some pretty big acts. I think I paid about $40 and hour.

And if you bring in your own engineer that you can pay in beer, Electrical Audio's B Room is actually affordable. I think its around $400/day.
