Two Lehle Sunday Driver buffer/boosters for ultimate sparkly clean/dirty clean tone
I've been using two of Burkhard Lehle's wonderful Sunday Driver buffer/boosters for a while now, but just found an even better way to use them in combination.
I have a footswitchable Sunday Driver SW in front of the amp for either highly detailed clean or dirty clean using the footswitchable boost, and have just put one of the standard Sunday Drivers at the end of the effects chain in my amp's effects loop. Two instant improvements in tone:
And I'm not affiliated with Burkhard apart from loving his Sunday Drivers. |

Lehle products are from another planet. Enjoy

I don't use a fuzzface, but I do use a Wah and amp overdrive after the Sunday Driver SW - they like it a lot, as it cleans everything up. Also the SW has a switch on it so you can flip to true bypass rather than buffered mode if you need that for fuzzface usage. All footswitchable, so easy to flip modes based on how you set it up.
