Hermida Reverb question...
So I just got it in the mail, get it on my board, step on it and nothing. It allows signal through it but once I turn it on it stops everything. Is this pedal one of those that needs a different or its own power source? Is it a reverse polarity pedal? What could I be doing or not doing?
Thanks, Jordan

Are you running it through an FX Loop or the front of the amp?

Does the light come on?
They ship new with a 9v power supply and there is a battery harness inside (9v) but mine did not ship new with a battery installed. Any 9v p/s should work, but if you have not done so already, open it up and put in/replace the 9v battery and see what happens. (You did not mention of the light comes on when you step on the bypass switch).
If it does not work then, contact Alf Hermida. He is very responsive, I've found. Very very good pedal for basic straight ahead amp type reverb needs. I have both the Nuenaber Wet Reverb and the Strymon Blue Sky, both a which cover alot of ground, but I don't see the Hermida going anywhere. Hopefully you can easilly resolve this!

I run it in front of the amp.
The light does come on. I haven't ever opened it up but I will try that and will try to get ahold of Alf if that doesn't work. Thanks a lot guys.
