Great lesson, Dale, and excellent bonus material on the other voicings.

I used to have a lot of trouble moving from the E to the F#m smoothly, but what seems to work for me is to play the open E with my 2, 3 and 4 fingers and just release the 2 finger and play the F#m etc. with 1, 3 and 4 for as I move up the neck. FWIW.

Very nice lesson and good subject matter, also appreciate the coherent presentation - well thought out and easy to watch.

One thing though, why is the C chord being played as a triad, it's a C major 7th on the recording (the C isn't fretted at the first fret B string) - Greg maintains the open E and B strings throughout the verse.

A bit of trivia, this tune was recorded with an entirely different bridge when it debuted, it's interesting in a sort of psychedelic 1967 way Also, Sam Samudio sang the original.

Your lessons are excellent! Thanks for taking the time to create them. I've spent quite a bit of time on the lead parts for a few Allman Brothers songs recently and didn't realize some of the great chord voicings being used in the rhythm parts (like this song).

Look forward to seeing more of your lessons...keep up the great work.
