Proposal during the gig!

My good friend Josh Allen proposed to his girl Samantha yesterday between songs at The Riverhead Blues Festival onstage in front of 3000 people...while wearing his Mark Knopfler Strat. She said yes...and he continued on to play the set of his life. She was talking to me 5 minutes before, with tears in her eyes, how proud she was of him and the band, and how she wants him to travel on the Festival circuit next year. I knew what he was about to do...and bit my tongue. 2 great kids.

This being TGP someone should say something snarky, but I'm at a loss. That's just cool.

*The band then followed up by playing the Beatles, "You're Going to Lose That Girl".*

I love how, this being TGP, the fact that he was wearing a Mark Knopfler Strat is relevent.

Great way to start the day - thanks!
