What is the best boutique/boutique quality amp for around $500-$600?

I am looking at switching a lot of things up. I play anything from modern coldplay-ish stuff to nices fat blues. I need an amp that does both well and everything in between. Tell me what you guys think!

Thanks

Ok. I've heard good things about it. I forgot to put that I will be buying used so I can get more for my money. So the list price definitely doesn't have to be under $500.

If you're going for coldplay-ish stuff, Johnny Buckland still used Fender Devilles live.
(Fender twin reverbs, hiwatts, and marshalls in the studio I believe...)

Not super boutique...but for $500 you're not going to get into that realm anyways

Ok cool. I do think I could find something in my price range though. I think I could get a boutique amp or at least boutique quality for around $500 if it is like $900 - $1000 new.

I think you just might. What names are you looking at? Or is that the question? Used gear bargains are out there, and growing.

Well their are amps I would love to have. I don't think I could afford any of them right now, but it will give you an idea of what I like. Amps I dream about are: Morgan Dag15, Xits, Victoria, Budda. Hope this helps.

Even at used prices, I would say you'd need about $7-800 and even then you'd have to find a real bargain if you're looking for boutique. At this range, you might be able to find Dr Z Ghia or a VHT Pittbull 45. In the $5-600 range, I'd look into the Vox AC30cc or AC15 if you like Coldplay. Not boutique but still very nice tone for the money.

Why are you prescribing "boutique" at made in China prices?

Egnater Tweaker....

It covers a ton of ground and is right in your price range.
