Here's what I want to do. What thing will do this easily?
First off, thank you for your help.
Here's what I want to do: I want a thing that has a built in drum machine that has USB out so I can record into my laptop running Audacity software. Then I want to plug my Danelectro U2 guitar into this thing that emulates a Fender Bassman and has a USB output so I can record into my laptop running Audacity software. Then I want to plug my Rogue Beatle bass guitar into this thing that emulates a Fender Bassman and has a USB output so I can record into my laptop running Audacity software. Then I want to plug my SM-58 mic into this thing that emulates a mic pre and has a USB output so I can record into my laptop running Audacity software. Then I'll mix it down in Audacity and listen to it for personal enjoyment. That's all I want to do. What is this thing that will do all that easily? If this thing can do everything I want without even having to use a laptop that'd be ok too! Thanks! |

Cakewalk V-studio's will also do it. The cheapest boss/cakewalk v-studio is about $300 and will cover what you need, but doesn't have multitrack recorder/daw control surface functionality http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com...-20?sku=485748 |

Thanks re-animator!
Wow, it's like the marketing team for the Boss BR-800 has been reading my mind. I like the musicianfriend.com review of the Cakewalk V-Studio 20, "As a novice with home-based recording I did as many of us do; and conducted countless hours of internet research before making my purchase." That's what I've been doing. |
