Looking for a delay to run in stereo with 2 amps.

I'm looking for a nice programmable delay that I can run in stereo with 2 amplifiers. I wanted to go with a rack TC 2290 but the one I bought had issues and I sent it back. I'm looking for a footpedal that can get me in the ballpark of the 2290. Any suggestions?

Do you need stereo inputs, or is mono input okay?

Ive become very fond of running a a modulated delay to just one side of a pair - this is the most real sounding set up as you get the real feel of the rig in the clean amp and it makes a true chorus with the mod delay against the clean ....

I do this with my Eventide TimeFactor and it sounds pretty darn good, and that's coming from people that have heard my band and guitarists checking out my setup. Definitely worth considering.

Cause it sounds really cool. Especially if you have a ping-pong where the delays are alternately going back and forth between the amps.

I have a Digitech Hardwire and it's a pretty cool pedal. I do have to admit I've only had that and a Boss DD3.

The hardwire will do some nifty stereo tricks. From the manual...

Output 2 - Connect this output to the input of a second guitar
amplifier when a second amp is being used. When only the Input 1
(Mono) is connected and both Output 1 and Output 2 are used, a
delays except for MODULATED, SLAPBACK, REVERSE and LOOP
act as ping pong delays, meaning repeats alternate equally back and
forth between Output 1 and Output 2.

The repeat doesn't intermodulate with the original and is much clearer and more like either a natural delay or a second guitar part if you're doing the layering thing.

I use a fulltone tube tape echo to run my stereo set up. I have a strymon el capistan on order which can be run stereo as well. I'm hoping this can get me close to the fulltone TTE so I will have a back up for when the the craps out which it has and will again.

If you can find a Damage Control Timeline, it has stereo in and out. In addition to that, it sounds amazing and is midi compatible.

I really like my Boss DD-20. It works great for me in splitting my signal to two amps. Although, stereo is not all that important to me. I just really like the sound of my two amps blended.
