Needing a New Stereo for the Pickup
What is a good brand to buy these days? I've ran my pioneer super
tuner III until its end. Its totally freaking out. Lived a long life. ![]() I know nothing about the car audio products out there. Anything good for about 350 bucks? I have a lot of mp3 tunes and an iPhone. I don't think I can run a Double Din size in the dash without cutting a center dash support. Going into a 1998 F-150 supercab. Thanks! |

I just got this JVC stereo for my 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. I absolutely love it! Its got everything you could ask for from a car stereo such as HD Radio, Satellite Radio Capabilities, Aux. In, a USB in, iPhone compatible, plays mp3 CD's. You can adjust the led colors for both the right and left sides of the display. It even has a remote which sounds kind of ridiculous and lazy but its actually very handy and makes adjusting volume and such while drive a bit safer. I think this unit would be compatible with your car but look around at all of the JVC stuff. However, I really love mine and would definitely recommend it!

Perfect! It is compatible, very similar to the control layout of the old pioneer and great ratings from people. Love it!

Cool, glad you posted that one. My Nissan came with a stereo with NO AUX IN for my Ipod. 20 watts per with a Mosfet power amp. Should sound pretty good.
