I don't know if I should say this but...

After reading some of the post on the Vox AC30VT I wasn't sure if I should tell you guys that I picked one up today and love it. I play Jazzie Blues type stuff. And was disappointed with the amp at first. Then I switched off all the models and effects and went manual. That's when it came alive. Just what I wanted. I think it would be easy to discount this amp just on the complication of trying to use it. But Like my Parker. A little Patience pays big dividends. just thought I would put in my 02 about the amp.

I got the opportunity to play live on stage with Ian Gillan (Vocalist, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath) I was set up with on of the original more classic looking "AC30 Sized" Vox Valvetronix modeling amps. I proceeded to blow the roof off of the place with my tone.

In a good live mix, your specific guitar tone can be dialed in quite well with on of those amps. As demonstrated by me, that night!
